Islamabad: A joint committee has been formed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to advance music, film and documentary production projects. The agreement originated during meetings in Islamabad Pakistan. During a meeting between Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Media Salman bin Yousaf Al-Dosari both officials made the decision to establish the joint committee.
Joint efforts to fight propaganda and misinformation received strong support from both leadership representatives. During the meeting Federal Minister Tarar confirmed that Pakistan continues to elevate its relationship with Saudi Arabia based on Saudi Vision 2030 directives. The Saudi Minister Al-Dosari expressed that boosting cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan in media alongside other sectors stands as an essential goal.
The joint committee aims to establish cultural exchange programs in order to produce media collaboration projects that will strengthen bilateral relations between both nations. Analysts consider this initiative to be an important development for cultural and media relations strengthening.
