KARACHI: Changes in currency rates have been seen in Pakistan’s open market, where the value of the US dollar has increased slightly. According to the latest data of the forex market, the buying price of the dollar has been recorded at 280 rupees 65 paise, while the selling price has been recorded at 282 rupees 15 paise. Similarly, the price of the British pound remained unchanged at 359 rupees 60 paise and 363 rupees 10 paise. The price of the euro was 307 rupees 40 paise bought and 310 rupees 15 paise sold.
In the open market, the Saudi Riyal is available for purchase at Rs 74.70 and for sale at Rs 75.25, while the UAE Dirham is available for purchase at Rs 76.35 and for sale at Rs 77.
In other currencies, the Australian dollar was trading at Rs 174 for buying and Rs 176 for selling of 25 paise, the Canadian dollar at Rs 199 for buying and Rs 35 for selling of 201 paise, the Chinese yuan at Rs 37 for buying and Rs 37 for selling of 59 paise, and the Japanese yen at Rs 1 for buying and Rs 1 for selling of 91 paise.
