ISLAMABAD: Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar has said that there will be no fraud in the agreement reached between the government and lawyers. Talking to the media at the Islamabad High Court, he said he was grateful to the former and current chief justices of the court. Those who made decisions in the legal sphere related to lawyers. Azam Nazir Tarar said that more good news is expected for the lawyers’ community in the coming days, and he always kept in touch with the bar associations in an open manner, not trying to get backdoor support at any stage. The federal minister stressed that the government should not interfere in the internal affairs of the bar associations. He said that the key point of the 26th constitutional amendment is the principle of accountability of the judiciary, because the courts are institutions of public service, not the royal court. He further informed that the appointment of judges from Balochistan and Sindh in the Islamabad High Court is a positive step that has strengthened the representation of the federation.
