Parliamentary Internship Programme 2025 of the National Assembly: the last date for applications is 30 April

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly of Pakistan has announced a six-week parliamentary internship program for 2025, which will begin in Islamabad in June. The objective of the program is to impart practical training to the youth in various areas of parliamentary affairs, legislation, public policy, and assembly. Those who complete the internship will also be issued a formal certificate by the National Assembly Secretariat.

To apply, candidates must have completed at least 14 years of education from any HEC-approved institution, have at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 in the relevant subjects, and be less than 30 years old. The program is open to students of law, economics, business, public administration, finance, commerce, IT, media, and other social sciences. Master’s students and students completing the second year of a four-year undergraduate program are also eligible.

Students from Balochistan, Southern Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been specially encouraged to apply. This internship will be unpaid and does not guarantee employment in the National Assembly.

Applications can only be submitted online, and the last date has been fixed as 30th April 2025. Candidates will be required to submit a CV, academic credentials, a photo, a CNIC, and an internship letter from the university.
