Summary prepared to fix wheat price at Rs 2900 per maund in Punjab

Lahore: According to government sources, the Punjab Food Department has prepared a summary to fix the new price of wheat. The proposed price has been set at Rs 2900 per maund and this summary has been sent to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Sources say that after the approval of the Chief Minister, the summary will be presented in the provincial cabinet meeting. At the same time, the Punjab government has decided that the wheat in its reserves will be brought to the market for sale in order to create stability in the market.
