Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the Israeli bombing of Doha in a telephonic conversation with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. On this occasion, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of life and property.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister expressed complete solidarity with the Emir of Qatar, the royal family and the Qatari people and said that Pakistan stands with Qatar like a rock. He stressed that the Israeli aggression is not only illegal but also a serious threat to the peace and stability of the region.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed sympathy for the damage to civilian property and the loss of innocent lives, calling it a humanitarian incident. The statement said that the Emir of Qatar thanked the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his expression of solidarity.
Furthermore, the two leaders also agreed to continue close communication to ensure peace and security in the region.
