Supreme Court to hear petitions against 26th Constitutional Amendment on October 7

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has fixed the date for hearing petitions filed against the 26th Constitutional Amendment. This important case will be heard on October 7 at 11:30 am.

The 8-member bench formed to hear the case will be headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan. Other judges include Justice Jamal Mandokhel, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hassan Rizvi, Justice Musarat Hilali, Justice Naeem Afghan and Justice Shahid Bilal.

According to legal experts, this hearing could prove to be a very important milestone regarding the constitutional scope and impact of parliamentary amendments.
