Trading at Pakistan Stock Exchange ended on Thursday with a positive trend. The market witnessed fluctuations throughout the day, but the buying trend by investors took control of the environment at the closing time.
The benchmark 100 Index closed at 159,280 points with an increase of 1043 points. The index also reached a high of 159,537 points during the day.
The 100 index had closed at 158,983 points a day earlier.
Brokerage experts say the recent improvement in the market reflects the restoration of investor confidence and positive expectations in the economy.
