Good news for the public, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced the prices of LPG.

The price per kg has been fixed at Rs 207.49 from October 1, which is a decrease of Rs 6.70 per kg (3.1 percent). According to the OGRA notification, the price of a 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has been reduced by Rs 79.14 paise, after which the new price has become Rs 2448.33 paise.

In September, the same cylinder was being sold for Rs 2527.47 paise. According to experts, although this reduction in prices is limited, it is some relief for domestic consumers, especially in areas where natural gas supply is limited and people depend on LPG.
