Pakistan may cut petrol prices after global oil rates decline

There has been a significant decline in petrol prices in the global market, after which there is a possibility of a change in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan as well.

According to the released data, the global price of petrol has come down from $76.51 cents to $73.71 cents per barrel, i.e. a decrease of $2.80 cents per barrel has been recorded.

According to reports, the premium on petrol per barrel has decreased by 35 cents, while the price of petrol per liter has decreased by 2 cents. Exchange adjustment has been reduced by 65 paise, customs duty by 32 paise and marine duty by 51 paise.

According to the data, the ex-refinery price of petrol has decreased by Rs6.19 paise, while the global price of high-speed diesel has decreased by 74 cents per barrel and 37 paise at the refinery level.

According to sources in the Ministry of Energy, the official announcement of the new prices of petroleum products in Pakistan is expected on October 15.
