The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong bullish start to the business week, where the benchmark 100 index closed at 169,456 points with a gain of 1153 points due to strong investor interest.
The index recorded a low of 168,880 during the trading session, while at one point the index also managed to touch a high of 169,060 points.
The 100 index closed at 168,303 yesterday.
Investment experts say that improvements in the financial sector and reduction in uncertainty played a major role in restoring confidence in the market.
