Trump Says No Final Deal with Iran on Nuclear Issue, Warns Over Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump has said regarding the ongoing negotiations with Iran that a final agreement could not be reached on the nuclear issue, but progress has been made on several points.

He said that he was fully briefed on the negotiations by Vice President JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

Trump praised the Pakistani leadership, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying that their leadership played an important role in making the negotiations possible.

He added that Iran is not willing to give up its nuclear program, due to which the agreement could not be completed.

The US President accused Iran of breaking its promise regarding the Strait of Hormuz and said that the US Navy will take strong measures in the region.
