Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has unequivocally stated that the Islamic Republic will not transfer its enriched uranium stockpile to another country, rejecting recent claims from the United States suggesting otherwise. Tehran has dismissed these assertions as baseless, emphasizing that its enriched uranium is a matter of national sovereignty.
Baghaei emphasized that no agreement has been made to send Iran’s nuclear material abroad, asserting that such a move is not under consideration and will never occur. He described the notion of transferring enriched uranium as inconsistent with Iran’s policies and reiterated that the material remains in Iran under strict oversight.
The comments come amid ongoing diplomatic tensions between Tehran and Washington, with disputes over nuclear negotiations and regional security issues at the forefront.
Iran continues to maintain that its nuclear program is peaceful, and any transfer of enriched materials is off the table.
