Amid rising tensions between Iran and the Western world, the Iranian leadership has taken a tough and clear stance, warning that if military action is taken against Iran again, its effects will be felt beyond the entire region.

In an interview with a Brazilian newspaper, Ismail Baghaei said that Iran’s demands from the United States are actually related to fundamental rights. He clarified that the lifting of US sanctions on Iran does not fall under the category of any concession or special demand, but rather it is the right of the Iranian people.

He said that economic sanctions have certainly put pressure on Iran’s economy, but Tehran will not compromise on its sovereignty and national interests. He also stressed that Iran does not want to close the doors of diplomacy, but the politics of pressure and threats will not be acceptable.

Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that the enemy’s movements are a sign that efforts are underway to create tension again in the region. He said that Iran has further improved its defense strategy and military preparations during the ceasefire.

He said that the Iranian forces are fully prepared to deal with any emergency and the country’s defense capability has become stronger than ever. He described national unity as Iran’s greatest strength in the current situation.

On the other hand, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in its statement that if Iran is attacked again, the war will not be limited to the Middle East but its effects could spread to the global level. The Revolutionary Guards said that Iran did not use all its military capabilities in the previous conflict.

The statement further said that Iran does not rely only on statements and social media campaigns but also has the full ability to show its strength in the practical field. According to the Revolutionary Guards, in the event of any new aggression, Iran’s new regional and non-regional capabilities will be activated.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in a statement released on the social media platform X that the recent tensions have provided important operational experience to the Iranian forces. He said that if Iran is targeted again, the enemy may face a harsher and more unexpected response than before.

According to regional experts, Iran’s recent statements show that Tehran is giving importance to military preparations along with diplomatic pressure. Analysts say that if tensions in the region increase further, it could also have an impact on global energy markets and the security situation in the Middle East.
