Gold prices in the domestic bullion market remained broadly steady on Monday, 25 May 2026, with rates for different purity levels showing consistent trends in line with international market movements and local demand conditions.
According to latest data from local jewellers, the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs 463,000 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams was recorded at Rs 396,948. The per-gram price was calculated at Rs 39,695.
In the 22-karat category, widely used in traditional jewellery across Pakistan, the rate was noted at Rs 424,526 per tola, with 10 grams priced at Rs 363,869 and per gram at Rs 36,387.
Similarly, 21-karat gold was traded at Rs405,229 per tola, while the 10-gram rate stood at Rs347,330 and per gram at Rs34,733, reflecting stable demand in mid-tier jewellery segments.
For lower purity categories, 20-karat gold was priced at Rs 385,933 per tola, with 10 grams at Rs 330,790 and per gram at Rs 33,079. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold, commonly used in lightweight and modern jewellery designs, was recorded at Rs 347,339 per tola, Rs 297,711 per 10 grams, and Rs 29,771 per gram.
Market participants said gold rates continue to move in close correlation with global bullion prices and exchange rate fluctuations. They added that seasonal demand, particularly in the run-up to wedding-related buying activity, also plays a role in shaping short-term price trends.
Analysts noted that investors are closely watching international economic indicators, including inflation expectations and currency movements, which continue to influence sentiment in the local bullion market.
