PCB Turns to School Cricket to Find Pakistan’s Next Cricket Stars
On the instructions of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi, it has been decided to expand the School Cricket Program to different parts of the country.
The aim of this project is to find talented young cricketers from the school level and provide them with opportunities to progress at the national level.
The first match of the second season of the PCB Talent Hunt Program for Schools will be between the teams of Beacon House and Aitchison College on Saturday.
This inaugural match to be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore will start at 2 pm. Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will attend the ceremony as the chief guest.
A musical concert will also be organized for the fans at the end of the inaugural match. Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will perform on the occasion.
According to the PCB, no fee will be charged from the fans to attend the match and concert.
