Petrol and Diesel Prices Reduced, New Rates Announced

Petrol and diesel expensive new prices released

The Petroleum Division has announced a reduction in petrol and diesel prices from October 1.

According to the new prices, petrol has become cheaper by 14 paise to Rs 387.40 per litre, while the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.89. Diesel is now available for Rs 400.35 per litre.

According to officials, the new prices will be implemented at 12 midnight on October 1. Despite the slight reduction, petrol and diesel prices will remain at a high level.

The new prices will be implemented until the next review.
