The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products for November 4, under which the prices of both petrol and diesel have been reduced.
According to the notification issued, the price of petrol has been reduced by 5 rupees 45 paise per litre, after which the new price has been set at Rs 369 rupees 6 paise per litre.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel has also been reduced by Rs 3.68 per litre. After this reduction, the new price of diesel will be Rs 391.52 per litre.
According to the notification, the new prices of petroleum products will be effective only for November 4.
Under the system of determining the prices of petroleum products on a daily basis by the government, consumers face relief or additional burden according to the changes in oil prices in the global market.
