The government has further reduced the prices of petroleum products, after which both petrol and diesel have become cheaper.
According to a notification issued by the government, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 9.41 per litre, after which the new price has been set at Rs 352.59.
Similarly, the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 5.56 per litre. After this reduction, the new price of diesel has become Rs 382.25 per litre.
According to the notification, the new prices of petroleum products will be applicable from November 6, 2026, and these prices have been fixed for one day.
The reduction in prices is expected to provide temporary relief to consumers using petrol and diesel.
