Lahore – Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, has appreciated the running coalition government for positive development in the field of municipal services.
Speaking at a ceremony, Malik Ahmed Khan lauded the government on its fabulous policy on recycling of plastics that he said is a progressive step towards preserving the environment. He has also appreciated Maryam Nawaz for delivering a logical idea in this case.
The Speaker added that the government of Pakistan’s definite commitment to uplift the provincial services and environmental sanitation could be evidenced by the Clean Punjab Project. He also agreed with the decision made some time back to prohibit several kinds of plastic bags as a positive move towards checking pollution.
These moves showed that the government of Punjab is serious about the environment and future of the region.
