The Supreme Court officially reinstated Additional Registrar Nazar Abbas to continue his duties.

Islamabad: The Supreme Court’s Registrar’s Office released a notification restoring Additional Registrar Nazar Abbas to serve as Additional Registrar Judicial.

Previously, the court sent Nazar Abbas to function as an OSD to arrange a constitutional case before a regular bench. He received instructions to remain in the registrar’s office until given alternate instructions.

The Supreme Court previously declared Nazar Abbas made a serious mistake in a court statement and instructed the High Court’s Registrar to resolve the issue. The administratively separated Nazar Abbas presented his case through an appeal before the same reviewing court, which he claimed had unjustly targeted him.

During the appeal hearing at the Supreme Court, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah delivered one short decision to close the show-cause notice proceedings against Nazar Abbas. Through its ruling, the court established Nazar Abbas had not intentionally breached court contempt laws.

Through its judgment, the court discussed the non-compliance of judicial and constitutional committee members and sent the file to the Chief Justice for establishing full court proceedings.
