PM Meets Chief Justice to Discuss Judicial Reforms

Islamabad: The Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, met Chief Justice of Pakistan, Honourable Chief Justice Yayha Afridi, at the Supreme Court’s premises after receiving his invitation. The meeting consisted of Chief Justice reforms to enhance both the justice system and policy-making inclusivity.

The discussion with Chief Justice included his clear reason for needing opposition party participation because it enhances both transparency and sustained reform implementation. The reforms would obtain non-controversial durability by pursuing proposals from every political stakeholder his administration represents. The meeting consisted of Federal Minister for Law and Federal Minister Ahmed Cheema, together with the Supreme Court Registrar and the Secretary of the Law and Justice Commission.

The Supreme Court Chief Justice gave an honorary shield to the Prime Minister to express good intentions. Before leaving the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the Chief Justice for his reform plans and fully backed judicial system development initiatives. The analysts interpret this cooperative method as a vital measure to reinforce judicial public trust and sustain judicial reforms.
