US Dollar Keeps on Appreciating While Pakistani Rupee Depreciates

The US Dollar appreciates more than the Pakistani Rupee at a buying rate of Rs. 279.6 and the selling rate of Rs. 281.1 per dollar as of Friday. This is an addition to the tendency of decline in currency value and has increased the concerns over the possibility of economic stability in Pakistan. It is attributed to international economic links and issues within inflationary pressures and the domestic exchange rate. Another factor likely to influence import costs and inflation across the country is the growing dollar value.
