Islamabad: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Jaffar Express and said that the terrorists involved in the incident do not deserve any concession. He stressed that there would be no compromise in the fight against terrorism and the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
Government sources have expressed concern over the misleading and fake propaganda being spread on social media after the incident. They say that anti-national elements are trying to create awareness among the public through fake videos, old photos, fake WhatsApp messages, and posters. The sources warned that the Indian media is engaged in misleading the people by presenting the analysis of self-proclaimed fugitive Baloch leaders sitting outside Pakistan.
The government spokesman appealed to the people to seek information from authentic sources instead of believing the fake and fabricated propaganda spread on social media. He stressed that anti-national forces were using such tactics to undermine Pakistan’s stability.
According to the Balochistan government spokesman, the train driver was injured in the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express. Emergency has been imposed in hospitals in Sabi and Quetta after the incident. to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured. He said that after the attack, an emergency desk has been set up at the Quetta railway station, from where information and assistance is being provided to the victims.
The government has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident and vowed to step up action against the terrorists. Senator Mohsin Naqvi said that the government’s resolve in the fight against terrorism is firm, and any element that threatens the security of the country will be brutally crushed.
