Today Pakistan Stock Exchange is down by 100 points


KARACHI— Today was a mixed day for investors at the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The market witnessed volatility during the trading, and the 100 index closed at 1,148.4 points, down 93 points.
During the trading day, the index fluctuated in a band of 660 points, where some shares rose while others dominated the downtrend.
299.6 million shares were traded in the market today, with a total value of Rs 20.26 billion. However, the market capitalization decreased by 17 billion rupees to 14 thousand 48 billion rupees.
According to experts, investors are adopting a cautious strategy, keeping in mind the global economic conditions and domestic policies, which is leading to uncertainty in the market.
