Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to attend National Security Committee meeting

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to attend the parliamentary National Security Committee meeting.

According to sources, the PTI leadership agreed to attend the meeting after consultations in the opposition lobby. Several leaders, including party chairman Barrister Gowhar, argued in favor of participation, while Junaid Akbar suggested consultation with PTI’s founder.
PTI has provided 14 names to the National Assembly, including Barrister Gauhar, Asad Qaiser, Zartaj Gul, Ali Muhammad Khan, Ali Zafar, and others. Earlier, Speaker of the National Assembly and Chief Whip Tariq Fazal Chaudhry had sought names from PTI to attend the meeting.
