The solution to problems lies in dialogue; there should be no politics over water. Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad: PML-N senior leader and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said that the best way to resolve national issues, especially important issues like water sharing, is through understanding instead of politicizing them. He said the PML-N has always abided by the rights of the units and considers the strength of the federation conditional on their strength.

Rana Sanaullah said that the party leadership has instructed them to resolve the issues through contact and dialogue with the PPP. He made it clear that in the absence of the 1991 Water Agreement and the 1992 ARSA Act, it was not possible to give water from one province to another.

He stressed that since the PPP is part of the federation, its leaders should talk responsibly within the constitutional framework. Rana Sanaullah said that we are in favor of resolving all disputes through dialogue as in the past.
