Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has warned India of a “befitting response” if it is attacked.

Islamabad Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has warned India that if it takes any aggressive step, Pakistan will respond not only proportionately but even more. He was speaking to the media outside Parliament House.

Khawaja Asif said that whatever action India takes, Pakistan’s response will be more than that. He added that friendly countries and major powers in the region are playing the role of mediators and want that there should not be a situation of war. He hoped that India will gain some wisdom from the efforts of these countries.

The Defence Minister made it clear that Pakistan would respond to any violation by India. He said that as time passes, the risk of attack is increasing. He added that India has not responded to the call for a global probe, which means “there is something black in the dal.”

Khawaja Asif said that war will not be started from our side, but if war is imposed, we will give a befitting reply. He said that the more force India uses, the more force we will respond with.
