KARACHI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that it was the unity of the Pakistani nation and the full readiness of the armed forces that defeated the enemy’s malicious designs.
Speaking to officers and sailors at the Karachi Dockyard, the Prime Minister highlighted how the entire nation stood firmly behind its military during a period of heightened tension. “It was not just military strength—it was national unity that became our real weapon,” he stated.
He credited the Pakistan Navy with protecting maritime borders and praised the Army and Air Force for their precise and powerful response to enemy threats. “From land to air to sea, the enemy received a clear message: Pakistan will not compromise its sovereignty,” he added.
Honoring the country’s martyrs and veterans, the Prime Minister said that any attempt at maritime aggression would have brought further disgrace to the enemy. He concluded by thanking Donald Trump for his diplomatic efforts and declared him a “Man of Peace.”
