ISLAMABAD: Senior Muslim League-N leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that PTI is not only in chaos but is also adopting a non-serious attitude towards talks. In a statement issued from Islamabad, he made it clear that no one will come out on PTI’s call because the people have now become indifferent to their narrative.

Irfan Siddiqui said that the government may be in a position to give something to the founder of PTI, but the question is, what is he himself in a position to give? He has nothing to give. He also took a tough stance regarding the talks and said, First decide who has to talk, with whom, and what to talk about. These same people have run away from talks in the past too.

Furthermore, he rejected the claims of bringing a no-confidence motion and said that if any motion is brought, it will only have a few people from PTI; there is no Alvi or Qasim Suri in the ranks of the PML-N. On a question regarding Modi, Irfan Siddiqui clarified that if Modi fires a bullet, he will be shot in response, because there can be no compromise on Pakistan’s sovereignty.
