Pakistan issues directive not to travel to Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria

Islamabad: In view of the ongoing tense situation in the Middle East, the government of Pakistan has issued strict instructions to its citizens to avoid traveling to Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.

The Foreign Office spokesperson has said that Pakistanis residing in these countries have also been instructed to exercise extreme caution and limit their movements. The spokesperson added that in the current situation, the security of the Middle East is uncertain and the situation can worsen at any time. The Foreign Office has urged Pakistani citizens to avoid unnecessary exits from their homes and to contact the nearest Pakistani embassy immediately in case of emergency.

In addition, it is also important to report any suspicious activity immediately to ensure their safety.
