Exemplary arrangements for peace and cleanliness in Muharram

Lahore: The spokesperson of the Punjab government says that exemplary arrangements for peace and order, cleanliness, and service were made during Muharram under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

According to the spokesperson, the largest security arrangements were made in the history of the province; 108,000 police personnel and Rangers were on duty for security, while sherbet and lemon water dispensers, field hospitals, and mobile clinics were also provided. For the first time, the routes of the processions were cooled by sprinkling water, and a close watch was kept on fake news through cyber patrolling.
