Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said in his message on the occasion of Ashura Day that the great martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his devoted companions will always remind the champions of truth and justice.
The President said that the incident of Karbala teaches us a lesson not to bow down in the face of oppression, and in the challenges facing the country today, we must adopt the role of Hussain. He said that we have to pledge to make Pakistan a manifestation of Imam Hussain’s message of freedom and justice.
