Meeting Imran Khan in jail after a long gap, Barrister Gauhar hints at protest movement

Rawalpindi: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gauhar, while talking to the media after his meeting with party founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail Rawalpindi, said that this meeting was possible after a gap of almost a month.

He said that several important issues were discussed in this meeting, including detailed discussions on the party’s internal strategy, legal challenges, and especially the upcoming protest plan.

Barrister Gauhar criticized the jail administration and said,

“When Imran Khan is isolated, not given news, and prevented from meetings, not only are his fundamental rights affected, but also the political organization faces difficulties.”

He further said that Imran Khan is determined and a new phase in the movement is possible at the public level soon.
