Pakistan to Announce Test Squad for West Indies Series Soon

In a few days, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will name the national team for the two-test series against the West Indies. Some people say that the national managers have decided on the team after consulting with each other. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will then give his final clearance.

Reports say that Pakistan is going to rely on its spin attack a lot during the match. Nauman Ali has stayed with the team, and spinners Sajid Khan and Abrar Ahmed are pleased to be back. Not as many fast bowlers will be on the team, though, since Naseem Shah is resting and Shaheen Afridi probably won’t be playing.

Information from insiders says that Imam-ul-Haq will likely be back at bat, and one or two young hitters may also be added. However, Saim Ayub and Haseebullah can’t play because they are hurt.

Beginning on January 17, the first Test match of the series will be played in Multan. The Pakistani team will try to get off to a good start in the game by focusing on spin and having a mix of experienced and new players
