Karachi: The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association claims that the price of gold in Pakistan has increased by Rs 1,000 per tola, therefore determining the new pricing to Rs 277,000.
Ten grams of gold also saw a Rs 858 gain, reaching Rs 237,483. This increase in domestic gold prices reflects the pattern in the global market, where gold prices ascended by $10 per ounce and settled at $2,656 per ounce.
This represents the second consecutive day of a Rs 1,000 per tola increase in the local market, therefore underscoring a continuous rising trend in precious metal rates.
Both consumers and investors should be worried about the constant increase in gold prices since local market dynamics and global market movements reflect one another.
