LNG prices were increased at the beginning of November, the notification of which has been issued by OGRA. According to the authority, this month the price of LNG has increased by $0.22 per MMBTU compared to October.
The notification states that the price of LNG for consumers of the Sui Northern system has been increased by $0.16 per MMBTU, after which the new price for this system has been set at $12.39 per MMBTU.
Similarly, the price has been increased on the Sui Southern system. According to OGRA, LNG for this system has now become expensive, rising by $0.22 per MMBTU to $11.45 per MMBTU.
According to economic experts, the local market is also being affected due to price fluctuations in the global energy market, which is having a direct impact on the public and the industrial sector.
