According to the latest data from the State Bank of Pakistan, workers’ remittances in November 2025 were recorded at $3.18 billion. Although this amount is 7 percent lower than October, the figures for the entire fiscal year are still 9 percent higher than the previous year.

According to the data, $753 million was transferred to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia and $675 million from the United Arab Emirates during November, which shows the strong economic commitment of the overseas Pakistani community.

From July to November 2025, i.e. in the first five months of the fiscal year, the total amount of remittances was $16.14 billion, which is 9 percent more than the same period of the previous fiscal year.

During this period, $3.9 billion was sent from Saudi Arabia, $3.36 billion from the UAE and $2.34 billion from the United Kingdom.  US remittances recorded a record $13.8 million.

According to economists, the monthly decline in November is temporary and is linked to the duration of seasonal jobs in the Middle East.
