Islamabad: Another golden addition has been made to the history of Pakistan. The State Bank of Pakistan has issued a special commemorative coin of Rs. 75 to commemorate the celebration of “Battle of Truth”, which is not only a part of the currency but also a symbolic gift of the sacrifices and valor of the armed forces.
This commemorative coin is available to the public from August 15, 2025 at all field offices of the State Bank Banking Services Corporation. Its design has been meticulously crafted, with a crescent moon and a five-pointed star prominent in the center. The words “Islamic Republic of Pakistan” are engraved on the edge, while the year 2025 is inscribed below.
The metal composition of the coin includes 79 percent copper, 20 percent zinc and one percent nickel, its weight is 13.5 grams and its diameter is 30 mm. On the reverse side, the words “Pakistan is long live” and “Battle of Truth” are engraved along with the image of two fighter jets, a ship and a rocket launcher, reflecting the unity and strength of the three armed forces.
According to experts, this coin is not only a valuable souvenir but also holds historical and collection value for years to come.
