CJP emphasizes the Relationship between Bar and Bench

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi has said that a strong relationship between the bench and the bar is essential for the delivery of justice; the judiciary is the guarantor of the interpretation of the law and the protection of fundamental rights.

Representatives of bar associations met the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court.

On the occasion, the Chief Justice shared his experiences of visits to remote districts with the bar associations.

He said that Ghotki Judicial Complex is an example for other districts with excellent facilities; special training programs for lawyers will be started in the Federal Judicial Academy.

The Chief Justice directed the Law and Justice Commission to provide a grant of Rs 10 lakh to the bar associations.

According to the statement, the Chief Justice assured the High Court Bar Association of Multan to provide a video link facility and solve the problems of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bar.

According to the statement, collective efforts of all stakeholders are necessary for progress in the justice system.
