India’s Actions Are Rendering Kashmiris Powerless in Their Homeland: President Zardari

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that India is trying to turn Kashmiris into a minority in their own homeland through demographic change, delimitation and unjustified arrests in occupied Kashmir.

In his special message on Kashmir Exploitation Day, President Zardari said that the Indian government took away the autonomy of the occupied valley by revoking Article 370 on August 5, 2019, which is a serious violation of the fundamental rights of Kashmiris.

He said that Indian actions are not only a threat to regional peace but are also a violation of UN resolutions and international laws. The President reiterated that Pakistan will continue to provide diplomatic, political and moral support to the Kashmiri people.
