Industries equipped with modern technology are the economic future of Pakistan: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad— Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the use of modern technology in industries has become inevitable to make Pakistan’s economy stable and self-reliant. The Prime Minister said this during a meeting with the presidents of the Chambers of Commerce across the country.

He said that the government has adopted a clear strategy for economic stability, and after the success of the battle for truth, the nation and the government are now determined to achieve victory in the economic field. He said that the alliance of the government and the private sector can transform Pakistan into an emerging global economic power.

The Prime Minister also mentioned measures to promote small and medium enterprises, easy access to business loans, reduction in electricity prices, and reduction in business costs. He made it clear that tax evasion will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict measures are being taken to prevent it.
