Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting at the Governor House, Lahore, in which detailed discussions were held on the upcoming budget, public welfare, national security, and political matters. The President stressed that the government should pay special attention to providing relief to the common man in the budget.
The meeting also discussed the Prime Minister’s recent foreign visits, while better cooperation between the coalition parties was also emphasized. Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, and Senator Saleem Mandviwala were also present at the meeting.
