Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sincerely congratulated the Independent Group on its outstanding success in the Islamabad Bar Council and Punjab Bar Council elections.
In a statement issued, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes to all the successful candidates including Ahsan Bhawan and said that the legal community has always been at the forefront for strengthening democracy in the country, providing justice and protecting public rights.
He said that those who voted on principles have been rewarded for their hard work in the form of success today. The Prime Minister expressed the expectation that the newly elected representatives will discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication and professionalism.
PM Shahbaz Sharif further said that the government is in close touch with the legal community, and the Law Minister is actively working to resolve their problems. He expressed the hope that the new leadership will play its active role for the judiciary and the rule of law.
