Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif: Vast investment opportunities in agriculture, IT, minerals and energy

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan has great opportunities for foreign investors in sectors like agriculture, IT, minerals, tourism, and renewable energy, and the government is committed to turning these opportunities into practical projects.

A meeting was held on Zoom from London under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister, in which Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal, Special Assistant Atta Tarar, Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Cheema, Environment Minister Mosaddeq Malik, and Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik participated.

Shahbaz Sharif directed that all ministries should prepare immediate and feasible plans to achieve their goals so that investment as well as trade activities can be promoted. He clarified that timely completion of ongoing projects and involvement of the private sector in new projects is very important.

The Prime Minister further said that the policy of economic reforms and transparency has given a new direction to the economy; now it is time for us to move towards our goals under a comprehensive roadmap so that the country can be put on the path of sustainable development.
