Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif vows to take relations with Belarus to new heights

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that relations between Pakistan and Belarus have reached a new milestone today.
In a statement, the prime minister said that he had a very pleasant meeting with President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus. The Prime Minister also thanked the President for the excellent hospitality extended by Belarus.
Shehbaz Sharif said that in the meeting, the two leaders had detailed discussions on promoting political, trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts.
The Prime Minister also disclosed that it has been agreed to provide work opportunities to more than 150,000 skilled Pakistanis in national construction and development projects in Belarus.
Shehbaz Sharif said that both President Lukashenko and he were keen to take bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus to new heights.
