ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the nation on the spectacular success of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), saying that Pakistan’s recent victory has not only given a new turn to the country’s defense history but also changed the balance of power in the entire region. Addressing the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel at Kamra Air Base, the Prime Minister said that the bravehearts knocked out the teeth of the enemy and destroyed their pride. Shahbaz Sharif asserted, “This was the most spectacular victory in Pakistan’s history. If the enemy looks again, he will be trampled.
The prime minister revealed that the Pakistan Air Force destroyed six Indian fighter jets, including three advanced Rafales. He said that the pride of India and the pride of billions of dollars of weapons were reduced to ashes on May 10. “On that day, the world said in one voice that Pakistan won the war with technical expertise and subjugation,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan did not lose patience despite the enemy’s attack and thoughtfully targeted the enemy’s military installations, while India targeted innocent children. Praising the professional standards of the Pakistan Air Force, he said that from May 6 to 10, the world was surprised at the high level at which Pakistan’s soldiers were showing their skills.
The Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, and other senior civil and military officials were present on the occasion. The Prime Minister met the Shaheens and appreciated their spirit and professionalism.
Earlier, the Prime Minister also visited Pasrur Cantonment Sialkot and met the officers and men involved in “Operation Baniyan Mursos” to appreciate their courage and sacrifices.
