Bilawal Bhutto’s stern message to the federation: “Stop the canals project, otherwise we will not cooperate”

Hyderabad: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has warned the federal government that the PPP will not side with the government if the controversial new canals project is not stopped immediately. He said the issue of water sharing could harm the federal unity, and if the PPP remained silent, no one would raise their voice. Bilawal said that the people of Sindh have rejected the canals project by making the PPP successful in the by-election of Umerkot. He said that these canals are being built by people sitting in Islamabad and the water of Sindh is being snatched. Bilawal clarified that the PPP does politics on principles and will vigorously defend the rights of his province.
