ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi has issued a public message stating that the fastest justice in the justice system is his top priority, especially ensuring the early decision of cases in the Supreme Court. He said that in the last five months, 7,633 new cases were filed in the Supreme Court, while 11,779 cases were decided, which is a clear example of improvement in the justice system.
The Chief Justice added that after the appointment of new judges, the cases will be decided more quickly. He urged the public to be informed immediately if any official or non-official person demands a bribe or recommendation. He assured that the name of the complainant will be kept confidential and immediate action will be taken.
