CM Maryam Nawaz pays tribute to People’s Liberation Army, calls Pak-China relations a bond of hearts

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz congratulated the Chinese government and forces on the 98th founding anniversary of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China and called the Pak-China friendship a “bond of hearts”.

She said that the role of the Chinese armed forces in establishing national and global peace is commendable, and the Pak-China defense cooperation reflects an exemplary and everlasting partnership.

Maryam Nawaz praised the PLA’s professionalism, innovative strategy and spirit of service and said that the Punjab government is committed to further enhancing cooperation with China in areas such as industrial development and environment.

In her statement, she called China an “iron brother” and said that this relationship is not just diplomatic or defensive but is based on unity of hearts.
